Coaching: Dramaturgy is a one day intensive workshop and open to authors already engaged into their own processes (in the beginning or towards the end, no finished productions). We will discuss dramaturgy, possible structure and problems of the future piece. The idea is to expose these works to the view of outside eyes. Questions inherent to the artistic process, but also those reflecting on how we give feedback will be discussed. We wish to open up a productive, yet critical dialogue about the process of artistic creation as well as offer different ways of thinking about dramaturgy as a practice – by doing it together. Authors are supposed to prepare a short presentation of their working process in advance. Mila Pavicevic was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia. She has an MA in Dramaturgy from the Academy of Drama Art University of Zagreb, Croatia. She works a dramaturge, programmer, writer and editor. She is a member of Centre of Drama Art. Her main interest is dance dramaturgy and collaborative practices. She collaborates with different artists and institutions: Sergiu Matis, Agata Siniariska & Madalina Dan, Goran Sergej Pristas, Zrinka Uzbinec… Her books and texts are translated into many different languages, for her book Ice Girl and Other Fairytales she received the European Union Prize for Literature.
