Lose ends. Make beginnings.

Improvisation lives on the multiplicity of its relations and the ongoing series of events: touching, agreements, disturbance, unraveling. Still, in its highest complexity it only practices persistence in simplicity and trust. Encounters turn into new relations, beginnings are continuity.

With dance improvisation, Alma moves back and forth between physical challenge, fun and exhaustion and creates a direct exchange with composition elements such as group and partner exercises in order to increase body awareness as a way of composing improvisation. The format of improvisation is intended for people who are familiar with performative situations because of its strong physical dimension. But it also invites for interdisciplinary exchange. Terms such as humor (-lessness), musicality, inconvenience, and love may or may not come up.
