“And yet it spins”

A fixed point in space. Space inside the body. A spinning body within a space. What else needs to spin so that we could find a solid point inside us? Where are the boundaries between the inner world of the performer and outer reality of the spectator?
A dance performance by Sona Feriencikova, a Slovak dancer, accompanied by live music of Slovenian musician Gasper Piano. It speaks to the tension between the personal and the public, between the internal and the external, between that what is concealed and that what is revealed. It transcends the limits of the “fourth wall” to come closer to the audience. It locates the space between the complexity of motion and the simplicity of the moment.
